Embracing New Beginnings: Exciting Changes Ahead!

Dear Shalom Bayit Community,

I hope this message finds you in good spirits. As we journey through life, we encounter numerous transitions that open doors to new opportunities. Today, I’m excited to share an important update about the evolution of my work and how it will continue to support you.

After careful reflection, I have decided to conclude the Shalom Bayit Project.

This decision stems from my deep commitment to better serve women facing significant life changes, particularly those navigating the complexities of divorce before, during, and after long-term marriages. Having recently retired after more than thirty years as a family lawyer, I find it important to utilize my experience as a coach in that arena.

I’m excited to introduce my new website, Healing Heart Divorce, which is dedicated primarily to Jewish women experiencing gray divorce. Recently, there has been a noticeable shift in divorce trends, with more long-term marriages coming to an end.

For many women who have deeply intertwined their identities with their roles as wives, mothers, and grandmothers, confronting the question of "So now what?" can be daunting and frightening.

Understanding these challenges, I am dedicated to empowering women contemplating divorce or those who have already embarked on that journey. My aim is to facilitate the transition from hurt to healing by providing essential tools and support to confidently embrace this new chapter of life. This platform is designed as a nurturing space for rediscovering your best self, adeptly navigating the emotional landscape of this transition, and cultivating a fulfilling life after divorce.

At Healing Heart Divorce, we’ll explore a variety of important topics, including:

  • Examining “Should I Stay or Go?” from every angle to make the best choice

  • Navigating the complexities of the divorce process

  • Steering clear of the pitfalls of poor decision-making

  • Embracing positive aging and accepting new identities and roles

  • Walking the path of self-discovery and personal growth

  • Preparing for dating after 50 and making mindful, intentional choices

  • Cultivating emotional intelligence to regulate painful emotions

  • Developing relationship intelligence and setting healthy boundaries

  • Inventing new norms and rituals to enrich your life

  • Making challenging decisions and moving toward healing

  • Cultivating holistic well-being and self-care

  • Life crafting to create a life where every day matters

Please note: I don’t want to be presumptuous, so I will not automatically transfer your subscription from the Shalom Bayit Project to Healing Heart Divorce. If you feel this new journey aligns with your current needs and aspirations, I warmly invite you to subscribe to my new website, located at the bottom of the homepage.

Please share this with anyone you think would enjoy this new venture. I would also love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on how I can serve you as I move forward with my own transition. With gratitude and excitement,
